The Cocky and Funny Technique: How to Use It to Attract Women

When I first discovered the cocky and funny technique, I thought it was the answer to all my problems with regard to successfully seducing and dating women. I hoped that if I said a few cocky and funny lines to women, that all my problems would be fixed.

What’s The Point of Being Cocky and Funny?

We all know that women love a guy with a sense of humor. They love it even more, when he can make her laugh, no matter how cheesy the joke is. There’s just something about a man who can make a woman laugh that gets their attention from across the room. They have an attitude of “I’ll show him who’s boss.”

A cocky guy is confident in himself, making women want him even more. His cockiness attracts women because they know he will never settle for them, making them feel they need to work harder for his attention and approval. Men like this are hard to come by, so when you find one, you hold on tight.

In truth, being cocky and funny is one of the easiest and quickest ways to make a woman attracted to you when you first start talking to her. It’s also a great way to maintain a woman’s interest. However, to make full use of being cocky and funny, you will need to understand how to use it in combination with other techniques that I’ve discovered over the years, which I will now discuss.

Getting the Right Balance of Cocky and Funny

If you act too cocky, you’ll come across as arrogant and insecure. On the other hand, if you’re just funny, always clowning around and making people laugh, you’ll only come off as “a bit goofy.” Neither of which is attractive. But if you use both together, you will build attraction very fast.

Finding the right balance means understanding that you need to be playfully cocky rather than arrogantly cocky. The problem with only using cockiness is that it actually lowers your value. Acting like a “show-off” or someone “who’s full of himself” will instantly turn women off.

This is why it’s essential to be cocky and funny simultaneously. You can really say anything as long as it comes across as a joke. If it’s funny, then that cocky comment doesn’t have the same “I’m full of myself” approach because it’s just a joke.

For example: Let’s say you’re in a grocery store, and you and a woman line up at the counter at the same time. Instead of letting her in front like an average nice guy would, you can say the following in a playfully cocky way with a cheeky grin on your face, “Okay, you can go in front… as long as you buy my groceries and carry my shopping to the car….”

See How it Works

You’re being cocky or funny for your own amusement. You’re not saying something you hope she finds funny and waiting for her to laugh at it. You’re saying something that amuses you and that doesn’t need approval from her or anyone else. By amusing yourself, you improve your state—whether it’s appreciated by her or not. Your attitude is: “I find it funny, and if you don’t get it then you’re up yourself. You need to stop taking life so seriously and have fun.”

Also, you’re not being a complete dick by being too cocky, yet you’re displaying the cocky and funny attitude that women find attractive in a man. Approaching it this way will ensure you achieve the right balance without going too far and insulting the woman.

Remember that being cocky and funny isn’t about making women feel bad about themselves or putting them down in any way (as some guys online that try to teach this stuff led me to believe in the past).

Using cocky and funny is about showing women that you’re not a pushover and that you can say cocky things without fear or hesitation. It shows that you’re not desperate to get laid, and you’re actually a calm, confident guy who she can talk to and get to know.

One of the keys to being cocky and funny is that you should never crack. For example, let’s say that you’ve been making cocky, funny comments to a hot girl all night about her clothing—teasing her pretty hard but in a non-serious, funny way. She gives you the “I can’t believe you just said that” look on her face, trying to hide her smile. Whatever you do, don’t then lose all the tension by saying, “I’m only joking, I think you look fantastic” at the end. You’ll undo all your hard work.

On a final note, remember to use cocky and funny sparingly. You don’t want to be a clown using humor or come across as repetitive. The main problem with the cocky and funny technique is that many guys abuse it. They overuse it to the point where it no longer becomes funny. It becomes dull and predictable.

Use the cocky and funny technique in small amounts. It is much more essential to build rapport during your interaction and make a connection.

Examples of Cocky and Funny Pick-Up Lines

Here are a few examples of Cocky and Funny pick up lines:

Cocky & Funny example 1:

You: Did I just see you checking out my ass? (Say it with a “shame on you” expression on your face)

Cocky & Funny example 2:

Her: I have a boyfriend!

You: Yeah, he will keep you busy when I’m not around.

Cocky & Funny example 3:

Her: Give me a call sometime.

You: We’ve only known each other for 5 minutes, and you’re already telling me what to do. (Say with a smirk on your face)

Cocky & Funny example 4:

Her: Let’s go to dinner, my shout!

You: See, I knew there was a reason why I went out with you. (Say it with a cheeky grin).

When Should You Use It?

This is a technique that is best used during the early stages of the conversation. One of the most common times you will use this technique is when you are first talking with a woman.

Your tone should be short and concise but confident. You want to show her that you are not intimidated by her or nervous about what she might say next. Many guys make the mistake of trying too hard or being too nice, which can come across as trying to get something from her or just putting on an act for her benefit.

Can Your Style Be Too Cocky?

Cockiness is a powerful but dangerous weapon. You can use it for good or for evil. By using cockiness as your weapon, you are in control of how people react to you. The cockier you are, the more influential the effect it has on people.

However, just because you’re being cocky doesn’t mean that everybody will enjoy it. Your antics might turn some people off, but others will love them. If they’re not enjoying what you say, then they’re not going to stick around for long – which is okay if they don’t have anything valuable to contribute anyway.

Being cocky is not something that’s set in stone. You can alter your behavior at any time. Take some time to be cockier if you’d like, but always watch how others respond to it. If people seem offended by what you’re saying or doing, stop immediately, apologize for offending them, and change your behavior moving forward.

Conclusion

As I mentioned above, your goal is not to upset her but to tease her by acting cocky and funny so that it triggers attraction. And once you’ve perfected the skill of being cocky and funny, you’ll notice an amazing difference in how women respond to you. It is something that you can use right now and add a bit extra spice to your conversations with women.

Even though it’s guaranteed to work, it’s only a tiny part of the bigger picture. In order to make being cocky and funny a lot more effective, you must combine it with the right mindset, body language, and techniques.
